Announcements submitted via this form will appear online at MercedSunStar.com. Online announcements will not appear in the print edition of The Merced Sun Star.


About Online-only Paid Announcements
Each online announcement includes up to 2,000 words of text and a photo. After you submit your announcement and it has been reviewed for appropriate content, you can enhance your announcement with the following features:

  • Profile Page: Add details about yourselves and the occasion. (Note: this feature is available only for Engagement, Wedding, and Anniversary announcements.)
  • Guest Book: Place for family and friends to leave congratulatory messages.
  • Photo Gallery: Add up to 10 photos with captions.
  • Gift Registry: Let others know where they can find gifts for you.

Engagement Announcements will remain online for one year, Wedding Announcements for 6 months, Anniversary Announcements for 4 months, Birthday Announcements for 2 months.  Online-only Paid Announcements will be posted within one business day of receipt. You will receive an email notification with a link to the Announcement when it has been posted.

The price for an online announcement is $24.95.
